Farmers Insurance has started selling customizable auto, home, condo and renters policies in Kentucky.

Customers can obtain quotes in as little as two minutes, via Farmers.com.

Kentucky is the ninth state where Farmers has expanded access to its branded products since 2011 and the second, following South Carolina earlier this year, where the insurer has introduced a digital-first experience.

All Farmers policies in Kentucky will come standard with automatic payments, along with a customer service experience available via online chat, the Farmers Mobile App or by phone.

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies added Missouri, Washington and Wisconsin to the list of states where the insurer offers its homeowners insurance product.

With the expansion to the three new states, the company offers personal lines products in 15 states.

GUARD’s product targets dwellings valued over $75,000 and includes one- to four-family residences, renters and condo units (both owner-occupied and those held for rental).

By mixing and matching policy forms, endorsements, and optional coverages aimed at broader protection, policyholders can obtain property insurance suited to their circumstances. A Personal Umbrella with limits up to $5,000,000 is also available.
