The companies describe Email Health Check as an interactive tool that provides customers with immediate detailed breach search results so that users know if their email address is secure. If consumer emails are compromised, Email Health Check outlines what steps to take to safeguard their sensitive information.

Email Health Check is designed to complement the existing identity theft monitoring offering for GEICO Portfolio Identity Theft Protection customers provided by Generali Global Assistance by giving a user immediate feedback about email address exposure. It allows users to enter their email address and view detailed information instantly that shows if their email has been breached, where, what information was found, and in addition, provides corrective steps for users to take to safeguard their information.

Catastrophe modeler RMS said it has made major updates to its line of HWind forecasting products.

Launched in 2019, the first version of the HWind forecasting products included a collection of forecast tracks, track and gust probability metrics, and individual wind hazard and corresponding loss scenario foot prints for the following five days.

For the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, RMS said its HWind products are expanded so they can

further inform the markets with detailed insights throughout an event’s life cycle. Updates include the introduction of coastal storm surge data and forecasts, track intensity forecast maps, industry loss insights, and an increased frequency and variety of deliverables.

The information is designed to help insurers, reinsurers and financial markets make timely, informed decisions understanding both the wind, and now storm surge impact of a pre-landfall event.

Collectively, the HWind forecasting product updates expand the amount and quality of information that can be discerned about potential track, hazard, and loss impacts during an active event. The corresponding analytics and insights support a variety of pre-landfall event response applications, RMS said.
