Commercial property insurer FM today announced that Alison Erbig will take the role of executive vice president, chief financial officer, effective Nov. 1, succeeds Kevin Ingram, who is set to retire.
Erbig joins FM from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she most recently served as CFO for Global Risk Solutions. Her additional prior roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance included comptroller and director of investor relations.
As CFO at FM, Erbig will oversee all aspects of finance for FM, including financial reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis, treasury operations, corporate real estate and rating agency oversight. She will also lead FM’s risk management and enterprise resilience functions.
Ingram will officially retire from FM on Dec. 31.

Richmond, Va.-based specialty insurer Kinsale Capital Group, Inc. announced today that Brian D. Haney, president and chief operating officer has been elected to the company’s board of directors, effective Oct. 23, 2025, and that Haney plans to retire from his executive roles on March 2, 2026.
Upon retirement, Haney will commence a consulting engagement as a Senior Advisor with a general focus on investor relations.
Michael P. Kehoe, who currently serves as board chair and chief executive officer, will assume the additional title of president upon Haney’s retirement.
In addition, Stuart P. Winston, who was senior vice president and chief underwriting officer will be promoted to executive vice president, continuing to lead Kinsale’s underwriting operations as CUO.
Kehoe noted Haney’s influence on the company’s success since its founding back in 2009 through the variety of senior executive roles that he has held over the years. He also highlighted Winston’s “deep underwriting acumen and a proven track record of management success.”
Winston joined the Company in 2010 and has over 20 years of industry underwriting experience. During his tenure at the Company, he has served in positions of increasing responsibility in the leadership team.
