Chubb Limited has made several appointments to its executive team.

Julie Dillman has been appointed executive vice president, Chubb Group and Digital Transformation Officer. She will partner and work closely with Chubb’s chief digital business officer, Sean Ringsted, and the company’s senior business executives to lead the company’s transformation.

Dillman was previously senior VP, Chubb Group and global head of Operations and Technology. She will continue to have executive oversight for the company’s global operations and technology and will retain direct responsibility for certain operational areas, including workplace experience and flight operations. Dillman will continue to report to Evan G. Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer, and John Keogh, president and chief operating officer.

Thomas Kropp has been named senior vice president, Chubb Group and global head of Operations and Technology, and will report to Dillman. He previously served as deputy global operations and technology officer. Kropp will have global responsibility for technology, service operations, business resiliency, procurement, real estate and general business efficiencies.

Shekar Pannala has been appointed vice president, Chubb Group and global chief information officer. He will report to Kropp. Pannala has more than 25 years of technology experience, most recently as Chubb’s executive vice president, Global Technology.

The appointments were effective Jan. 1, 2022.

InsurTech Next Insurance announced the appointment of Teodora Gouneva as the company’s chief financial officer.

She brings over 20 years of experience working in finance. She was previously VP of Finance at Airbnb and spent over 15 years at PayPal in various finance leadership roles, including CFO of acquired companies Venmo and Braintree.

Gouneva steps into the role previously held by Michelle Cheung, who will now serve as Next’s first chief corporate officer and will lead the company’s legal, people and operations functions.

Everest Re Group Ltd has named Artur Klinger head of International Reinsurance. He will oversee the company’s reinsurance business in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, reporting directly to Everest Group COO and Head of Reinsurance Jim Williamson. Klinger brings more than two decades of deep reinsurance experience to the role, most recently as managing director of Continental Europe at Everest.

The company has also appointed Rui Marliere to lead its Latin America and Caribbean reinsurance business. He brings more than two decades of experience in the region, including leading underwriting business in Brazil, Peru and Chile. Most recently, Marliere served as the head treaty underwriter for Everest’s Caribbean and Colombia portfolios.
