Willis Group Holdings has named a new chair of Willis North America, a promotion from within. Christine LaSala will fill the slot.
LaSala has been with the global risk adviser, insurance and reinsurance broker since July and has served as Willis’s global head of client advocacy since October 2014. She’ll keep that position even as she assumes her new role with the company.
In her new role, LaSala will work with Willis North America CEO Todd Jones with a focus on business development and expanding Willis’ marketplace footprint. She replaces Vic Krauze as chair, who is stepping down from Willis at the end of February.
Before Willis, LaSala was president of the WTC Captive Insurance Company. Previously, she served various leadership roles with Johnson & Higgins and its successor company, Marsh.
