Zendrive, a data and analytics company focused on improving road safety, announced a new partnership with AXA XL, a provider of global commercial insurance and reinsurance to enterprises. Zendrive will join the AXA XL Construction Ecosystem aimed at redefining the future of construction risk management.

To create this ecosystem of 42 technology services, AXA XL has analyzed the services of more than 400 companies. Zendrive will support the ecosystem as an AXA XL-endorsed partner for fleet risk safety management. Zendrive’s mobility risk intelligence will allow commercial fleet managers to provide more consistent feedback to drivers and operators to improve overall driving safety and performance while mitigating the associated risks. AXA XL Construction customers will benefit from offerings including driver coaching and collision detection through a mobile app integration.

Zendrive is powered by a dataset that has analyzed 200 billion miles of data to date and scores driving characteristics using an algorithm, delivering feedback via smartphone apps for both individual and commercial fleet driving behaviors. The company’s artificial intelligence platform enables mobile driving behavior tools to generate risk models.

Vitech Systems Group announced that Portland, Ore.-based Standard Insurance Company has selected V3locity, Vitech’s cloud-native administration, engagement and analytics platform, to provide its ongoing policy administration services.

The Standard will use V3locity’s onboarding, enrollment, policy administration, and billing and commissions capabilities.

The Standard chose Vitech after an evaluation based on its cloud-based technology, functional capability and organizational fit. Key to their decision was Vitech’s experience in implementations for group and voluntary benefits insurers leveraging Vitech’s accelerated approach and pre-configured products and processes.

GeoX, a provider of geospatial data to insurers, announced a partnership with Sompo Holdings Inc., Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. and Sompo Risk Management Inc., specialty providers of property/casualty insurance and reinsurance.

This partnership will support Sompo Japan as it develops an automated underwriting methodology utilizing artificial intelligence technology.

GeoX has the experience and technology to provide intelligence for residential and commercial properties across the U.S. Sompo Japan and GeoX have been working together since January 2021 on developing and introducing methodologies of assessing customer risks by utilizing external data and various advanced digital technologies. Since the completion of proof-of-concept, Sompo Japan has reached an agreement with GeoX to establish an insurance underwriting scheme utilizing this knowledge.
