Berkley Regional Specialty is changing its name as part of a rebranding effort and expansion.
The W.R. Berkley Corp. company said it will become Berkley Aspire as of Jan. 1, 2018. According to the company, the idea behind it is to focus more on the operating unit’s “commitment to making writing excess and surplus lines insurance easy.”
Berkley Aspire writes general liability, property, umbrella and inland marine. Plans call for introducing new coverage lines in 2018, after the name change becomes official.
Mick Kallo, president of Berkley Regional Specialty, said the brand switch will happen gradually, as the division rebrands its website, logo, emails and agent communications.
