In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on December 20, Lemonade disclosed that executives Daniel Schreiber and Shai Wininger will resume the titles they held 2021 next year.
“After two and a half years as Co-CEOs, the Company’s current Co-Executive Officers, Shai Wininger and Daniel Schreiber, prefer to return to their previously held positions as the Company’s President and the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, respectively, because they believe that the clarity this structure provides outweighs the benefits of the Co-Chief Executive Officer structure,” the filing states.
The board of directors of Lemonade considered the leaders’ preference for this structure and approved the preferred appointments on Dec. 18, 2023, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
According to the filing, there are no changes to either executive’s compensation arrangements in connection with these appointments. Both continue to serve as members of the board of directors.
