Hamilton Insurance Group appointed a new executive who will be focused on strategy and corporate development. Everest Insurance hired a vice president focused on marketing and distribution.

Hamilton Insurance Group appointed Michael Papamichael as senior vice president, strategy & corporate development.

Papamichael will drive the implementation of Hamilton’s corporate strategy, reporting to Hamilton Group CEO Pina Albo and working with the group executive team and across various business units and group functions.

Papamichael joins Hamilton from Sirius Global Services, where he was most recently senior vice president, global planning officer & investor relations, a role he held for eight years. His responsibilities included strategic planning, acquisition modeling, due diligence and project management. Papamichael joined Sirius in 2002 as an analyst and oversaw the global planning, capital management and rating agency coordination for the operational subsidiaries of Sirius Group.

Everest Insurance hired Tim Bunt as a vice president with its marketing and distribution team.

In this role, Bunt is responsible for business development in the large account space. He will be based in the Stamford, Conn., office and report to Dane Lopes, head of sales, marketing and distribution management.

Bunt joins Everest Insurance from CBRE Inc., where he most recently served as senior vice president and chief risk officer. At CBRE, he oversaw risk management and was responsible for global procurement of risk financing and claims for both CBRE and client insurance programs.

Before joining CBRE in 2005, he was a corporate vice president at Arthur J. Gallagher, where he served as a producer and account executive focused on risk management accounts in the financial services and real estate sectors.

Earlier in his career, Bunt held numerous senior-level roles in the insurance, risk management and finance space.
