An ex-Liberty Mutual executive joined Great American Insurance Group to help grow its cyber liability business. Swiss Re Corporate Solutions hired a new head of Property & Specialty Lines in North America.

Great American Insurance Group hired a former Liberty Mutual executive as an executive with a focus on cyber insurance.
Kelli Artin will be divisional vice president of Cyber Liability. In this role, she’ll focus on the distribution strategy and marketing of Great American’s cyber risk insurance offerings.
Artin most recently served as a vice president with Liberty Mutual. She has 25 years of industry experience and has focused on cyber for 16 of those years.
Betty Shepherd, divisional senior vice president of Cyber Liability at Great American, said in prepared remarks that Artin will help the insurer expand its cyber insurance focus to larger companies and expand its capabilities to better meet the needs of the middle and excess cyber markets.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appointed Michael LaRocca as head Property & Specialty Lines North America.
LaRocca takes on the new job as of Nov. 7 and will manage the strategy, development and performance of the company’s Property & Specialty Lines portfolio.
Based in New York, LaRocca will oversee the General Property, Energy Property, Excess & Surplus Property, Engineering & Construction, General Aviation and Marine teams throughout the U.S. and Canada.
LaRocca is a 25-year industry veteran with experience in underwriting and focusing on clients, Swiss Re said.
