Planck Resolution hired a former AIG executive in a key role. Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty promoted one of its executives to become North America regional head of Entertainment.
A former American International Group executive has joined Planck Resolution, an AI-based data platform for commercial insurance, as general manager, North America.
Before joining Planck Resolution, Leandro DalleMule was the chief data officer and head of information management at AIG, which he initially joined in 2013 to lead the data management function for the P/C insurance business.
Previous to AIG, DalleMule served in positions with BlackRock, Citi and Deloitte Consulting.
Founded in 2016 by Elad Tsur, Amir Cohen and David Schapiro, Planck announced its first funding round of $12 million in July 2018. The round was led by Arbor Ventures and included Viola FinTech and Eight Roads. Planck has offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty said Wanda Phillips will become North America regional head of Entertainment, effective Jan. 1, 2019.
Phillips will replace Sue McGuirl, who has left Allianz to pursue other opportunities, according to the company. Based in New York, Phillips will report to Henning Haagen, Northeast zone executive and North America regional head of Specialty Lines.
Phillips will lead North American underwriting teams in support of Entertainment’s global product strategies. She joined AGCS in 2016 as a senior underwriting team leader responsible for establishing and overseeing the New York underwriting group. She has more than 25 years of industry experience in insurance underwriting and management, including stints with Entertainment Brokers International, Aon, Chubb and OneBeacon Entertainment.
