A Munich Re subsidiary will work with a travel insurance InsurTech to help it launch product sales in the United States.
The Travelers Companies, Inc. said it has added a new feature for its CyberRisk and CyberFirst customers – cyber monitoring services from SentinalOne.
Sentinal One is a cybersecurity company focused on endpoint detection and response technology – a cyber defense tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to identify, immediately respond to and help prevent possible cyber threats such as ransomware.
Travelers cyber customers who sign up between June 15 and September 15 will receive the service at no additional cost for a 60-day trial period. Those interested in continuing the service will receive a 25 percent discount.
SentinelOne developed a platform that goes beyond prevention, looking for and detecting attacks by watching computers for any changes in files or systems – signs that a cyber event might take place. The platform then initiates an instant response, saving valuable time. This capability, which separates it from legacy and next-generation antivirus solutions, can help companies protect their corporate network when employees return from working remotely, the companies said.
Specialist insurer Beazley formed a strategic alliance with Vizient Insurance Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Vizient, Inc., to offer active shooter coverage.
This coverage is available immediately to Vizient members.
Under the terms of the agreement, the policy includes prevention and crisis management services as well as insurance coverage to indemnify covered losses. The coverage is designed to help reduce the likelihood of an incident by providing risk assessments and educational tools to help clients improve security and resilience to an incident. In such event, Beazley’s crisis response services include security, investigation into the cause of the incident and assistance with managing crisis communications.
Vizient provides products and services that improve the delivery of high-value care by aligning cost, quality and market performance for more than 50 percent of the nation’s acute care providers, which includes 95 percent of the nation’s academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and more than 20 percent of ambulatory providers.
