StrategicClaim, a P/C software and services company focused on claims, has made an acquisition.
The Burlington, Mass. operation, which provides first notice and resolution services and software to U.S. P/C insurers, said it has acquired Harmon Solutions Group, a Wisconsin company that provides auto glass claim management and first notice of loss products and services to national and regional P/C insurance carriers.
Neither side is disclosing financial terms or deal specifics, other than that 60 employees from Harmon Solutions Group will be joining StrategicClaim as part of the deal. Also acquired: HSG’s Eau Claire claims operations center and infrastructure.
As well, StrategicClaim will partner with HSG sister company CodeBlue (which will remain independent), to add property management claim resolution services.
Why an acquisition? According to the deal announcement, StrategicClaim said the combination will help it extend the scale and range of products it sells to P/C insurers.
StrategicClaim, a wholly owned subsidiary of TruRoad Holdings, provides claim engagement services to regional, super-regional and national auto and property insurance carriers, as well as their agents and policyholders.
