While the move to working remotely was a necessary response to the global pandemic, the office-to-home shift has not only made it much harder to maintain good information governance policies but also laid bare a number of issues.

And as companies begin to shift back to an office environment, the “new normal” may continue to feature large numbers of employees working remotely. As a result, there is some urgency to strengthening information governance policies.
