Jim Sorrells is a property/casualty insurance subject expert at Shift Technology. He joined Shift in July 2021. He has more than 35 years of experience in property/casualty insurance, with most of that time engaged in executive roles leading strategy and transformation for Farmers Insurance Group and Cognizant. At Farmers, he spent 26 years in the claims organization where he led auto claims, subrogation, med-PIP, catastrophe claims and strategic initiatives. During his more than four years at Cognizant, he was a business development executive and property/casualty practice lead for its BPO organization.
