Slice Labs is linking with a Nationwide MGA to develop and distribute digital, on-demand insurance. AXA XL’s North America Construction insurance business launched a new digital platform.
Slice Labs said it will partner with Appalachian Underwriters Inc. to develop and distribute digital, on-demand insurance.
Slice is an InsurTech that helps carriers offer on-demand insurance through its Insurance Cloud Services platform, technology that relies on machine learning, big data technology and behavioral science expertise. As well, it also sells on-demand insurance including homeshare, rideshare and cyber cover.
Appalachian Underwriters offers an insurance wholesale brokerage outlet for agents looking to bring their clients a broad selection of products. It is a Nationwide MGA that specializes in Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Specialty, and Personal Lines products.
The two companies forged their partnership over the summer, working on products that leverage Slice’s ICS platform.
AXA XL’s North America Construction insurance business launched a new digital platform.
Dubbed Construction Ecosystem, the integrated digital platform is designed to connect innovative construction technology providers to help AXA XL’s contractor clients monitor and aggregate data. By doing so, the goal is to help manage risks on client jobsites and across their organizations.
As part of the launch, AXA XL is also launching a Tech Library designed to give customers access to its growing list of curated construction technology partners.
AXA XL’s Construction Ecosystem’s capabilities include: auto and casualty claims benchmarking and trends, forecasted weather risks and historical weather data, project specific status and alerts, and integrated data from third-party technologies.
