The Hartford said it has expanded its offerings designed to protect customers from cyber attack risks.
New additions to The Hartford Cyber Center include detection of digital risk exposure across the dark web from Terbium Labs, as well as a custom product that uses BlackBerry’s CylancePROTECT artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning software to safeguard business infrastructure.
Terbium Labs’ complimentary dark web scan provides The Hartford’s customers with a preview of exposure across the dark web, allowing them to detect potential leaks of sensitive information.
CylancePROTECT provides a tailored high-efficacy endpoint security platform through a licensing partnership with Verizon Managed Security Services (MSS) for The Hartford’s customers that includes: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine-learning to detect widespread security threats including ransomware, and identification and blocking of known and unknown malware before it gets inside the network.
These two new offerings complement The Hartford’s portfolio of cyber services, which also includes access to a data privacy and cybersecurity attorney, security awareness training to help educate employees on potential threats, automated security ratings, 24/7 cyber claims hotline and more.
Zurich and InsurTech managing general underwriter Vindati have launched a new stand-alone Motor Truck Cargo (MTC) program, targeted to for hire common and contract truckers.
Written through an exclusive agreement between Zurich and Vindati, the coverage insures against the risks of direct physical loss to covered property while in transit, loading or unloading; and while at a terminal or dock awaiting final distribution. The unbundled MTC coverage meets the U.S. DOT MTC requirements for cargo load pick up.
Zurich offers coverage to industries ranging from agriculture to construction. Zurich North America is part of Zurich Insurance Group, a multi-line insurer that serves its customers in global and local markets.
Vindati specializes in specialty products for small to mid-sized businesses and an integrated shopping experience for brokers, both traditional and digital. Its first products are contractors equipment, builder’s risk and farm/ranchowners packages. Long-term plans include expansion to a range of business products, including commercial articles and warehouse legal. It is backed by Innovisk Capital Partners.
