AXA XL Insurance has launched Cube, a six-week program designed to enable client risk managers to work alongside the company’s risk and innovation experts to develop innovative risk management products and services for their most complex risks.

The risk innovation incubator program comprises a series of workshops in which AXA XL and its clients experiment and test new products, ultimately resulting in a prototype and a supporting business case. Over the course of the program, clients have access to a team of innovation, digital and analytics experts, risk specialists and, when relevant, to some of AXA XL’s technology partners.

Cube is available to AXA XL clients globally.

CNA is now officially part of a new commercial insurance platform partnership with Bold Penguin, a commercial insurance technology startup.

The partnership enables agent and broker users of the Bold Penguin platform to triage, quote, and bind commercial insurance coverages through an API integration that’s 3X faster than traditional means, Bold Penguin said.

As part of the Bold Penguin partnership, CNA has expanded its capabilities to offer Workers Compensation and Business Owners Policy (BOP) coverages to the ever-growing market.

Berkley One, a W.R. Berkley-owned startup insurance provider for high-net-worth individuals and their families, is launching a number of new products.

The rollout includes excess flood, broader geographical capabilities with a launch in Vermont and deepening capabilities in existing states with the addition of auto coverage in Massachusetts. With these additions, Berkley One’s footprint now reaches 14 states and more than two-thirds of the high-net-worth personal insurance market.

Excess flood, the newest addition to Berkley One’s product portfolio, adds an extra layer of flood protection for homeowners clients. It follows the release of Berkley One’s primary flood solution in January 2019. Berkley One also expands its presence in the Northeast with the launch of Vermont and the addition of Auto Suite coverage in Massachusetts.
