Aon Benfield has teamed with CLARA analytics to deliver artificial intelligence tools to workers compensation insurers in the U.S. to help employees return to work as quickly as possible while decreasing loss ratios and improving operational efficiency.
Among the tools from CLARA:
- PUMA, a provider-scoring search engine that rapidly helps connect injured workers to the right medical providers.
- CATT, an early warning system that helps claims managers prioritize cases with the highest potential to have variability in customer experience and economic outcomes to the carrier.
George deMenocal, president and CEO of Aon Benfield US, said that CLARA’s analytics will be complemented by Aon’s re/insurer consulting arm, Aon Inpoint, to improve claims outcomes and develop AI platforms to gain operational efficiencies for insurers.
