AIR Worldwide, a Verisk Analytics business, has released a new cloud environment for its catastrophe risk management platforms Touchstone and CATRADER.
The AIR Cloud offers the benefits and security of an on-premises installation without the expense of maintaining a catastrophe modeling platform on-site, AIR said in a statement. With the AIR Cloud, companies can access their catastrophe modeling platform from anywhere, on any device, at any time to conduct detailed risk analyses, without the need for special software or third-party plug-ins. The catastrophe modeling firm noted that the AIR Cloud also reduces demand for IT resources because AIR handles the installation, maintenance and support.
AIR said that the AIR Cloud-hosted Touchstone environment is maintained in state-of-the-art data centers and fully isolated from other cloud tenants in terms of security fencing and compute and storage resources. Data is protected both in the AIR Cloud and during transfer.
