Everest Re Group, Ltd. said its U.S. primary specialty insurer has sealed up a new partnership designed to boost coverages in the utility and related energy industry.
Specifically, Everest National Insurance Co. will work with Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services (AEGIS) to provide primary admitted coverages to AEGIS members and nonmember energy companies in the utility and related energy industry.
Potential clients include those involved with energy exploration & production.
Everest National will provide a full admitted product set to these clients, including primary and excess workers compensation coverage, general liability and automobile coverage, written on either a guaranteed cost or loss sensitive basis. The new AEGIS-Everest alliance is effective for business incepting Jan. 1, 2016, according to a statement from Everest.
