Allstate announced updates to its mobile app, adding more features such as an affordable gas finder called GasBuddy, a parking reservation platform called SpotHero, a climate risk resource to guide homeowners called Risk Factor, and its own Good Hands Repair Network.

User-focused enhancements to assist customers begin with a redesigned launch screen and offer improved access to ID cards and messages.

“We’re listening to our customers, and these updates give them more personalized value and control to protect what matters most,”said Mike Antognoli, mobile product director at Allstate.

Allstate mobile continues to offer access to its Drivewise and crash detection services, Allstate Roadside Services, and Allstate Identity Protection.

In addition, customers can file a claim on their mobile device with QuickFoto Claims, check their policy and discounts, and access their latest ID cards.

The insurer said more customer-focused updates are in the pipeline.

Additional enhancements include the ability to add ID cards to Google Wallet, in addition to Apple Wallet, an upgraded message center and help center, as well as redesigned navigation and launch screen.

The app can be downloaded via the Apple App Store and Android Google Play.
