Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appointed Emmanuelle Huard-Auray as Head Engineering & Construction (E&C) North America.

The Swiss Re Corporate Solutions E&C North America team insures a wide range of risks across different sectors including renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, power and utilities, heavy industries and mining

Huard-Auray, in her new job, is responsible for driving the success of the E&C portfolio in North America and leading a regional team of underwriters. Based in Chicago, Huard-Auray will report to Michael LaRocca, Head Property & Specialty North America.

Huard-Auray joined Swiss Re in 2011 as an E&C underwriter and became senior underwriter in 2015. Earlier in her career, she worked in facultative underwriting and risk engineering.

AXA XL’s North America construction business promoted Rose Hall, formerly head Strategic Operations Manager for Construction Risk Engineering, to the newly created role of vice president, Head of Construction Innovation.

She reports to Gary Kaplan, president of AXA XL’s Construction insurance business.

Hall joined AXA XL in 2015 as a Construction Risk Engineer. Before her AXA XL tenure, she worked as a consultant providing litigation support and expert witness testimony services on construction-related claims and legal matters.

Hall spent the first 10 years of her career in the construction industry, serving in various roles including design engineering, preconstruction, estimating, purchasing, project management, and risk management.
