ACE Westchester, the excess and surplus lines business of ACE Group, has announced a new errors and omissions endorsement designed to help medical organizations manage nontraditional risk exposures.
The endorsement expands ACE’s existing offerings in the medical risk arena and leverages the company’s in-house expertise and first-class experience in the E&S sector by designing uniquely tailored risk solutions for nontraditional medical facilities, according to a statement.
“ACE Westchester’s longstanding expertise in the excess and surplus market positions us to better address the emerging risk exposures of miscellaneous medical facilities and health care organizations,” said Randi Goldberg, vice president of ACE Westchester Professional Risk. “We understand specialized providers of health care want to work with an insurer that can provide customized enhancements for their medical professional liability policies.”
The new enhancement is available to all ACE Westchester medical risk policyholders. Key highlights of the E&O expansion include:
- The ability to personalize the endorsement for individual insureds with exposures that could include an amendment to the definition of health care professional services.
- The capacity to add financial loss coverage.
- No minimum premium. (This enhancement may be available at no charge for small allied businesses.)
