Verisk Analytics named Beth Fitzgerald as the new leader of its ISO Insurance Programs and Analytic Services arm.

She replaces Kevin Thompson, who retired as a 40-year veteran of the company.

Fitzgerald joined ISO as an actuarial assistant and most recently was the division’s senior vice president of Commercial Lines. Verisk/ISO said she’s built up a reputation at the company pursuing innovation in data management and pricing for personal and commercial lines. Innovation areas include pricing models for catastrophe modeling and cyber insurance, the company said.

In her new role, she will lead the team that helps the insurance industry drive profitable growth, in part, through providing analytical services that build off ISO’s robust database.

Verisk Analystics President and CEO Scott Stephenson said in a statement that Fitzgerald’s appointment as president of ISO Insurance Programs and Analytic Services “marks our commitment to continue to build the core ISO business, to help our customers innovate and improve margins and to deliver outstanding service.”
