Kemper Corporation announced today that Frank J. Sodaro, will become Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing Dennis Vigneau, who is resigning.
In the press statement, the company did not indicate any reason behing Vigneau’s resignation, but said the moves will be effective on Mar. 15.
Sodaro will report to Donald G. Southwell, Kemper’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Most recently, Sodaro was Vice President of Planning and Analysis for Kemper. His previous positions include Assistant Corporate Controller, Investment Accounting Manager and Senior Auditor.
In a statement, Southwell said that Sodaro “has been an important member of our financial leadership team,” and that Vigneau had brought new perspectives Kemper’s capital and enterprise risk management efforts, along with an increased financial discipline for Kemper.
Kemper said that Sodaro, a certified public accountant, joined the company in 1992. He completed his Masters of Business Administration at DePaul University and Bachelor of Science in Finance with an emphasis on Accounting at Northern Illinois University. Mr. Sodaro is a Certified Public Accountant.
