During his nearly two decades in the industry, Kabir Syed, founder and CEO of RiskMatch, has held leadership positions in marketing, strategic planning, operations and analytics—most notably at broker Johnson & Higgins and then at J&H’s acquirer Marsh.

“At Marsh, my job was to say: ‘How much business is there in a given location? Should we open an office or not? How many people should we hire?” he tells Carrier Management.
