Cindy Leggett-Flynn

American International Group hired Cindy Leggett-Flynn as its new chief communications officer.

Leggett-Flynn will also have the title of senior vice president, and she takes on her new position on Sept. 19, 2016. She’ll report to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Hurd.

In her new role, Leggett-Flynn will handle AIG’s communications strategy and oversee corporate brand and marketing, internal communications, media relations and corporate citizenship activities.

Previously, she was a New York-based partner of the Brunswick Group, a communications consultancy. Before that, she was a Hong Kong-based managing partner for Greater China. In this role, Leggett-Flynn oversaw the firm’s Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offices, advising multinational corporations operating in Asia and Asian companies operating overseas.

JLT Specialty USA appointed Shirley Griffith Bourke as senior vice president.

Griffith Bourke’s mission will be to manage the needs of a number of film and television clients. She’ll help build out a Los Angeles team focused on handling complex risks relating to film and television productions.

JLT Specialty USA said that Griffith Bourke has a wide range of experience in the film and television industries with a focus on Hollywood Studio clientele. In this capacity, she has dealt with “some of the most complex, unique and hazardous films ever made,” the company said.

Previously, she has worked with large entertainment studios and collaborated with studio departments in areas including risk management, production, legal and finance, with a goal of designing insurance programs that address the productions at hand. Most of her career was at Albert G. Ruben, which later became Aon/Albert G. Ruben.

In her new role, Craig is accountable for professional liability business targeting hospitals, physicians and physician groups, medical facilities, senior living organizations and managed care organizations.

She will report to Dennis Crosby, executive vice president.

Craig’s 30 years of industry experience have been primarily focused on medical professional liability. She joined OneBeacon in 2008 and previously held leadership roles with several other carriers. Craig is based in OneBeacon’s Richmond, Virginia office.

One Beacon Healthcare’s other promotions: Jesica Wardwell to senior vice president of Managed Care and Sarah Logue as senior vice president of Medical Facilities. Senior Vice President Carolyn Toomey has also taken on responsibility for Senior Living Organizations, in addition to the Complex Risks business she has managed for several years.

Wells FargoMary-Beth Hahn joined Wells Fargo Insurance as head of its national risk management practice.

Previously, Hahn was with Marsh for 25 years, in various casualty sales and client service leadership roles. Most recently, she was managing director of its international casualty practice.

In her new role, Hahn will take on responsibilities including leading business strategy, product development and sales/client experience for Wells Fargo Insurance’s national risk management team

She’ll be based in Summit, N.J. and report to Kristine Meuse, head of the national cross sell team for Wells Fargo Insurance.
