The U.S. Tennis Association announced that insurance carrier Chubb has become the official insurance sponsor of the U.S. Open under a multi-year agreement that begins immediately.
Chubb’s branding will be featured in on-court signage in Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium and other tournament courts throughout the grounds.
The 2020 U.S. Open takes place from August 31 to September 13 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
“We are proud to begin this new partnership with the U.S. Open whose passionate followers and fans represent many of the clients and distribution partners whom we proudly serve every day,” said Evan G. Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer, Chubb.
Chubb said that during the first year of the partnership, its messaging will focus on the theme of “comebacks” — helping businesses, families and individuals recover and come back from a range of adverse events from everyday losses at home, on the road or in business to natural catastrophes.
“This sponsorship reinforces our confidence in the nation’s economic vitality and recovery from the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic,” added Greenberg.
