Chubb promoted an executive to be division president for Chubb Global Markets. AmTrust Financial Services hired a new head of Litigation.
Chubb appointed Jason Keen as division president, Chubb Global Markets.
Keen will be responsible for the leadership, strategy and performance of Chubb Global Markets, which encompasses Chubb’s London Market wholesale and specialty business including the company’s Lloyd’s platform.
Keen will assume his role early in the new year and report to David Furby, regional president, Chubb European Group. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval. He succeeds Matthew Shaw, who is leaving the company.
Keen joined ACE (now Chubb) in 2010 as regional property underwriter, Asia Pacific and assumed overall responsibility for the company’s Property and Casualty portfolio in Asia Pacific in 2016. Previously, he worked for Lloyd’s syndicates Talbot Underwriting Ltd and Ascot Underwriting Ltd.
AmTrust Financial Services made Daniel Hargraves, its executive vice president, head of Litigation.
Hargraves will be reporting jointly to Chairman and CEO Barry Zyskind and EVP, Chief Financial Officer Adam Karkowsky.
Hargraves has extensive experience in insurance-related litigation and was most recently managing partner of the New York office of Freeborn & Peters LLP. At Freeborn & Peters, Hargraves’ practice concentrated on litigating and arbitrating disputes on behalf of insurers, reinsurers, brokers, underwriting agents and pools, AmTrust said.
Hargraves is ranked by Chambers USA nationwide for Insurance Dispute Resolution. He is listed in the 2019 Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders list of the most highly regarded individuals in Insurance law.
