Starr Insurance Companies is expanding its drone insurance program with a key partner. MS Amlin said it has used a new digital trading product to upgrade a key offering.
Starr Insurance Companies said it is expanding its drone insurance program with SkyWatch Ltd., known as SkyWatch.AI.
The new program lets drone operators purchase insurance from Starr through a SkyWatch.AI link on select aviation brokers’ websites.
Tomer Kashi, SkyWatch.AI chief executive, said the company had wanted to expand from offering drone insurance simply through the SkyWatch.AI mobile app. The new partnership with Starr allows this, he said, but also lets clients keep their existing brokers.
MS Amlin said it has used a new digital trading product to upgrade its “Countrywise insurance” offerings, which provide agricultural motor insurance for brokers and their clients in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Accessible 24/7 from any device with an internet connection, the new platform offers many efficiency savings, with full-cycle functionality and a quick quote option that can present simple quotes in under a minute, MS Amlin said in a statement.
The MS Amlin “Countrywise insurance” product and claims offerings provide comprehensive cover for a wide range of rural businesses and private clients covering everything from cars, commercial vehicles and horseboxes through to tractors, harvesters and quad bikes.
