Chubb named a new senior underwriter for its Global Markets unit. Willis Towers Watson appointed one of its rising executives to a new role within its Corporate Risk and Broking segment.

Chubb appointed Benjamin Rowley as senior underwriter of Financial Lines for Chubb Global Markets. Rowley is a medical malpractice specialist with a background in errors and omissions. At his new job, he is responsible for growing and managing this specialized area of Chubb Global Markets’ business, the company said.

Rowley joins Chubb from Hiscox, where he underwrote E&O business for Syndicate 33 for 18 years, most recently as head of Healthcare within the Casualty Division.

The appointment is effective immediately. Rowley reports to Trevor Ormes, underwriting manager, Financial Lines, Chubb Global Markets in London.

Willis Towers Watson appointed Alexis Faber as chief operating officer within its Corporate Risk and Broking segment.

This is a new position for Willis Towers Watson. Faber will transition from her current role as global head of Financial Lines to take the job. She has been with Willis Towers Watson since 2003 and has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.

In her new role, she’ll be tasked with delivering the company’s operating model within Corporate Risk and Broking as well as implementing a consistent client experience across the segment, from sales to claims. She’ll report to Todd Jones, global head of Corporate Risk and Broking.
