A Chubb veteran joined CNA as its new vice president, Global Services.

CNA FINANCIAL CORPORATION LOGOLaurie Munson will be tasked with helping to grow the company’s international business by streamlining and boosting efficiencies, processes and technology. She’ll report to Kathleen Ellis, senior vice president, International, CNA Commercial, who joined the insurer earlier in 2016 with a mission to build a stronger global platform to support its commercial and specialty clients.

Munson is based in Chicago and has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience. She most recently served at Chubb as vice president, worldwide services manager, Multinational Solutions.

Moon is expected to be based in JLT Re’s Seoul office and will report to Kenny Moyes, CEO, JLT Re Asia. Moon’s mission: overseeing JLT Re Korea’s ongoing strategy and business development across treaty, facultative, analytics and strategic advisory for JLT Re’s core Korea clients.

Moon joins JLT Re, a London-based reinsurance broker and consultant, after 23 years at Korean Re.

RSA logoRSA appointed Richard Read as its new group pricing director.

The international insurer said that Read will report to Nathan Williams, group underwriting director, and he’ll start in November 2016. Read’s job will include leading the development and launch of pricing and underwriting strategy across RSA.

Read, a 14-year insurance industry veteran, comes to RSA from EY, where he led the pricing and product insurance analytics offering.

Xl CatlinSteven Zimmerman joined XL Catlin’s Broker & Client Management team as a client distribution leader in Los Angeles.

He’ll report to Mike Soper, XL Catlin’s U.S. West Regional Broker and Client Management Leader. He’ll be tasked with helping area brokers and businesses tap into XL Catlin expertise and products among its 30-plus business insurance lines.

Zimmerman has more than 20 years of business development and insurance industry broker experience. Previously, he was senior vice president of Gallagher Bassett Services.
