Allied World Assurance Company Holdings tapped a former Travelers executive to help lead its U.S. cyber insurance efforts.
Jason Glasgow is the insurer’s new vice president, practice lead – Technology, Privacy & Network Security Professional Liability. He’ll be tasked with strategy, management and underwriting of Allied World’s U.S. Cyber
platform.
Previously, Glasgow was at Travelers, where he was most recently vice president and Cyber Risk Product Manager.
Christian Gravier, president of Allied World North American Professional Lines, said that Glasgow is a significant strategic gain for the property/casualty specialty insurer and reinsurer.
“His 14+ years of insurance experience is invaluable and his reputation will be a great asset,” Gravier said in prepared remarks.
Insurers across the board have focused on growing their cyber coverage capacity and staffing.
Among the more recent efforts: Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty disclosed in June that it hired a number of AXIS and Chubb executives to help grow its cyber insurance arm.
