Chubb has enhanced its cover for commercial entertainment producers in the UK and Ireland.
The particular target audience for these changes: companies that produce television and other advertising commercials. Cover for emerging camera technology, automatic cover for antiques and objects of art, animal mortality and visitor’s personal property are among the new added policy wording and updates.
Chubb said that other policy features and benefits will include comprehensive cover through the production cycle, including pre-production, filming and completion of the post-production phase; public liability risks; flexibility policy limits tailored to individual clients’ needs; and business interruption risks, including cast, production media, extra expense and increased cost of working cover.
W.R. Berkley company Key Risk formed a new division focused on offering workers compensation and U.S. Longshoreman & Harbor Workers Act insurance programs nationally.
Key Risk provides risk management, claims and management care services for its clients. Workers compensation policies are written on behalf of W.R. Berkley Corp. member companies. Marsh has started marketing a new panel counsel endorsement designed to give asset management clients facing professional and management liability claims easy access to optional, pre-approved defense counsel.
Dubbed the Marsh Asset Management Liability Insurance Panel, the product includes 20 of the nation’s top asset management law firms, all pre-approved by underwriters on whose professional and management liability policies the panel list will be endorsed.
By launching the new panel counsel initiative, the hope is to promote more collaboration between Marsh, its clients, insurers and law firms in terms of legal counsel, business risk and insurance consideration.
