Christophe Chandler is XL Catlin’s new head of specialty reinsurance, London.

Chandler was most recently XL Catlin’s underwriting director for reinsurance in Bermuda, and has more than 20 years insurance and reinsurance experience. He joined Catlin (now part of XL Catlin) in 2002 as an international property treaty underwriter, first Xl Catlinin London and then Bermuda. In 2010, he helped establish Catlin Re Switzerland as underwriting director for Property. In 2014, he relocated to Bermuda with Catlin Insurance Company Ltd. as chief underwriting officers.

Previously, Chandler also developed experience at Cox Insurance and Willis.

A veteran of OneBeacon Insurance Group and Chubb is joining ID Experts as senior vice president and counsel for cyber insurance, liability and emerging risks.Cyber security, data management

Kimberly Holmes will be responsible at the Oregon-based identity protection software company with overseeing cyber and insurance litigation developments in all domestic industry verticals. Also, she will handle the corresponding cyber liability and enforcement landscapes that impact the overall insurance industry, and the health care, financial, government, education and public/private commercial industry sectors.

Holmes’ experience includes 15 years with Chubb Specialty Insurance. Most recently, she was vice president, product development, with OneBeacon Insurance Group, where she oversaw and managed product development processes for the chief underwriting officer for the company’s professional and management liability, and general/casualty business divisions.

He has a number of years of global insurance experience including assignments in London, New York, Houston, Miami, Hong Kong, Chile and Sao Paulo, Starr said.

For Starr Companies, Gray will be based in Miami, tasked with handling the growth and profitability of Starr’s business in Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
