Berkley Underwriting Partners, a W. R. Berkley company, has changed its name to Berkley Program Specialists.
The company said the change better reflects its sole focus on program business. “We decided to change our name to better reflect what we do,” said John Diem, president and chief executive officer of Berkley Program Specialists.
Founded in 2001, the Berkley Program Specialists currently has 16 programs in the following industry verticals: specialty contractors, niche liability, public transportation, commercial auto, agriculture, equine, specialized inland marine and hospitality.
