Orion180 Insurance Group Inc., a provider of homeowners and flood insurance, announced the launch of FlexLuxe Homeowners Insurance in certain coastal counties in Florida and throughout Texas. This is a specialized homeowners insurance product offering higher coverage limits, customizable protection, and service for high-value properties.
Building on Orion180’s FLEX Home Insurance platform, FlexLuxe offers dwelling coverage of up to $5 million and Total Insured Value of up to $7.5 million. For homeowners requiring $2 million to $5 million in dwelling coverage, insurance needs often extend beyond the primary residence to guest houses, detached structures, and other distinctive property features. FlexLuxe addresses this specialized market segment by offering higher limits and customizable coverage options designed to accommodate the scope and complexities of these properties.
FlexLuxe also integrates proactive risk-mitigation technology into its coverage offering. Every policy includes Orion180’s complimentary Automatic Water Turn-Off System, which monitors water flow, pressure and temperature to help reduce the risk of costly water damage.
It offers flexible deductible options, optional co-pay structures, extended replacement cost coverage, and specialized coverages that allow homeowners to tailor protection to their individual needs. Optional coverages include cyber protection, solar panels, increased special limits, and large loss deductible waivers. Scheduled personal property coverage provides additional choices for protecting eligible high-value possessions.
FlexLuxe is currently available through partner agencies in Florida and Texas, with launch in California and other states expected soon, according to a company press release.

Arbol launched a Data Center Regulatory Moratorium Cover, which transfers the risk of a government action halting or suspending data center construction.
It pays a set amount when a covered action takes effect and remains in force beyond a defined waiting period, protecting both the capital already committed to a project and the carrying costs that accumulate while it sits idle.
The cover is available now to data center developers through brokers. Arbol is a vertically integrated insurer that underwrites and prices risk, and provides the capacity and reinsurance solutions behind it, across markets exposed to drought, flood, wildfire, storm wind and other perils. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in New York, Arbol runs a licensed insurer, a reinsurance platform and an owned agency network on the same proprietary models and operating core. It underwrites primary property and casualty risk through Lilypad, its admitted carrier licensed in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Hawaii and Virginia, and specialty risk across property, agriculture and energy.

Zywave, a technology provider for insurance distribution, announced several updates to its Apex AI Platform portfolio. The updates include new personalization and Ideal Customer Profile capabilities in Zywave Producer Agent, a Loss Data connector for Zywave Apex MCP, and the Apex AI Studio library of open, ready-made AI skills.
New personalization features in Producer Agent let agencies tell their story, in their voice, in every email. Teams can set what makes the agency different, add proof points, name topics to include or avoid, apply specific writing guidelines and bring in their own content.
Updates to Ideal Customer Profiles, shaped by feedback from Producer Agent early adopters, also make it easier to reach more prospects. With this update, producers can build an Ideal Customer Profile contact list directly inside the AI assistant they already use. The new Zywave Apex MCP tool ranks contacts by title fit and known company opportunity signals, and it targets the best contact at each company by default.
Zywave’s commercial loss data is now reachable through AI tools with the Zywave Apex MCP: Loss Data connector. Users can ask for a loss profile on a company or on companies like it, drawn from Zywave’s verified record of reported loss events, or pull the case-level detail behind it, with no custom integration.
Zywave is also releasing the Apex AI Studio, a library of AI skills built on the Zywave Apex MCP. Skills are reusable instructions that tell AI how to complete a task step by step. Because MCP and skills are open standards, the Apex AI Studio works with any AI tool that supports these standards, rather than tying an agency to one vendor’s assistant. Skills only see what each user’s own login can already see, and any action that writes data asks for confirmation first.
