AmTrust Financial Services Inc., headquartered in New York City, appointed Curt Fletcher as senior vice president and Matt Thomas as vice president of AmTrust’s newly established E&S Premier group within the company’s excess and surplus (E&S) division.

E&S Premier is a new AmTrust business group focused on complex casualty business distributed through a very select group of brokers. Distribution will be exclusively through wholesale brokers, reinforcing AmTrust E&S’s wholesale-only focus.

Curt Fletcher

Fletcher has over 30 years of experience, most recently serving as president and CEO of Berkley E&S Solutions, following a long career at W.R. Berkley Corporation and its subsidiary Admiral Insurance, holding leadership roles including regional vice president, chief underwriting officer, and president & CEO. Earlier in his career, he served as a vice president at Gen Re.

Thomas has a strong focus on underwriting and underwriting strategy, joining AmTrust after 15 years with Admiral Insurance, where he most recently served as national vice president of professional liability underwriting strategy and analytics. Prior roles at Admiral included vice president of professional liability and underwriter, following an earlier underwriting position at CNA.

AmTrust also announced a major expansion of its E&S division, introducing new product lines in property, environmental and builders risk. Through the expansion, AmTrust has consolidated its Primary, Excess and Environmental products into a new brokerage casualty group, creating an integrated platform.

Brian Mulvihill, SVP, Casualty Brokerage: Leading the new casualty brokerage group, Mulvihill joined AmTrust in August 2025 from Crum & Forster Insurance where he spent over nine years in underwriting and management roles in areas including Construction, Unified XS, and most recently, VP, Excess & Umbrella, Head of Wholesale East.

Kevin Sullivan, VP, Property: Sullivan joined AmTrust in April 2024 to establish and lead the property group. Prior to AmTrust, he spent more than 11 years at as a Vice President at AXA XL.

Tom Kashickey, VP, Environmental: Kashickey joined AmTrust in January 2025 to lead the environmental group with nearly 20 years in the environmental insurance market, including underwriting and senior leadership roles at Ironshore (now Liberty Mutual) and AXIS Capital, following a legal career including corporate transactional and securities specialization.

Rob Tricamo, VP, Builders Risk: Tricamo joined AmTrust in April 2025 to lead the builders risk group. He previously spent 11 years at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he most recently served as VP of Construction Property.

Global specialty insurer SiriusPoint Ltd. appointed David Turner as Global Head of Claims, effective Oct. 7, 2025.

Based in London, Turner will report to CEO Scott Egan. In this new role, he will lead the global Claims function, overseeing teams across London and New York.

Turner joins SiriusPoint from Fidelis, where he was Group Head of Claims with responsibility for growing the claims function across key underwriting hubs. Before that, he was Global Claims Director at MS Amlin and also spent time in the claims team at Willis.
