With pre-configured products, forms and endorsements, rates and rules, actuarial services available for compliance and filings, and a globally scalable technology platform built on Sure, Anywhere aims to make the process of launching a new insurance program turnkey.

Sure is also aiming to capitalize on generative AI in delivering insurance experiences for consumers. By combining Anywhere’s insurance products with digital insurance distribution technology, Sure is providing the insurance industry with a platform to enable customer experiences through generative AI capabilities.

Ignite Specialty Risk, a provider of litigation risk insurance, announced the U.S. launch of its Litigation Capital Protection Insurance offering and the appointment of litigation finance expert and former litigator, Nicole Silver, as lead underwriter and head of U.S. operations.

Ignite’s Litigation Capital Protection Insurance enables litigation funders and law firms to deploy capital across a portfolio of litigation assets with the assurance that their underlying investment will be protected even if the portfolio does not perform as expected. It is backed by a panel of AM Best A- (Excellent) rated capacity.

Ignite was founded in the U.K. in 2022 by a team with experience in both litigation funding and insurance.

Silver, head of Ignite’s U.S. operations, brings a 20-year track record litigating complex disputes. She has worked at Winston & Strawn and Greenberg Traurig. Silver’s experience in litigation finance includes work at Validity Finance, where she supervised and advised on litigation matters including performing due diligence and underwriting portfolios of cases. As a funder, she has had exposure to all aspects of litigation insurance, including ATE, judgment protection, and litigation capital protection insurance.

Sertis, a managing general agency in the multifamily insurance market, announced its expansion into 32 states across the U.S.

Leveraging risk assessment technology integrated with a property management platform, Sertis enables brokers and agents to provide insurance coverage and unifies property management across multiple locations. Property owners gain visibility into their property managers’ activities in a single dashboard. For brokers and agents, Sertis aims to simplify the provision of master insurance programs.

The company is offering multifamily property, general liability, and equipment breakdown coverage to property owners with garden-style apartment buildings and plans to expand to provide comprehensive coverage to many other types of structures, according to a company press release.

The company’s multifamily insurance products are now available in 32 U.S. states. Sertis plans a full national expansion to be completed by 2026, the release said.
