Players Health, a sports platform and InsurTech managing general agent, launched an insurance product enabling amateur and professional sports teams to buy comprehensive insurance to protect players, coaches and owners through agents or a direct-to-consumer portal.
Players Health’s new product combines general liability, directors and officers coverage, and athlete medical coverage and builds on the growing trend toward embedded insurance. This insurance offering is powered by Socotra.
Players Health provides technology, risk management and insurance products with the aim of protecting young athletes and giving them safe places to play the sports that they love. It selected BizDynamics, a cloud business unit of ValueMomentum Inc. and a certified Socotra partner, to deploy its cloud-based rating engine and digital engagement platform, which is integrated with Socotra.
BizDynamics provided implementation support, as well as the digital engagement platform, which serves as the foundation for Players Health’s broader engagement strategy as an embedded insurance provider. Players Health also partnered with Socotra and BizDynamics to launch a new sports and wellness insurance product in Canada in two months.

Cyber-Sphere is a self-populating framework for financial quantification of cyber risk by asset groups, which are groups of devices and resources sharing the same network topology and business function. This helps large corporations with complex company networks share necessary information for CRQ analysis and provides a view of security posture for cyber risk management decision-making.
Kovrr’s Cyber-Sphere reflects the main characteristics and properties of an organization to allow for an on-demand and tailored cyber quantification assessment. It offers a comprehensive view of all data types across an organization, including internal and third-party technologies, network architecture, configurations, compliance with regulations and cloud environments. It also automatically integrates internal data sources into a single view of an organization map including internal security controls and endpoint protection, as well as asset inventories.
