Veteran Aon executive Tim Ronda is joining insurance/reinsurance broker TigerRisk Partners in a leadership role.

Ronda, mostly recently Aon’s Global Geographic Leader of Reinsurance Solutions, will be a senior executive at TigerRisk, a privately held reinsurance broker and risk capital management advisor for the global insurance and reinsurance industries.

Ronda also previously was Aon’s President of Reinsurance Solutions for the U.S. As well, he served as a member of the firm’s reinsurance solutions global executive committee. Before joining Aon, he was a Senior Vice President at Guy Carpenter.

TigerRisk CEO Rod Fox said in prepared remarks that Ronda “is one of the most experienced and capable reinsurance executives in the industry today.”

Ronda is also known for his expertise in areas such as property, management liability, E&O, employment practices, general and excess liability and workers’ compensation, the company said.

Ronda begins at TigerRisk on October 14.

TigerRisk is based in Connecticut with additional offices in New York, Bermuda, London, Hong Kong, Minneapolis, Chicago and Raleigh.
