Privately held, independent insurance broker Lockton Insurance Brokers has opened a new commercial insurance operation in Portland, Ore.
Industry veteran Andrew McClave has been named producer in the new office. McClave has been advising clients on risk management and property/casualty insurance issues for a decade, including for the past year with Lockton. He also has been a national accounts executive with global insurer Zurich.
Tim Noonan, president of Lockton’s Pacific operations, said the new office is a “first step in a plan to expand our service to clients in Portland,” noting that the business community there is “dynamic and we see opportunities for long-term growth to serve corporate clients in risk management, insurance and employee benefits.”
Lockton said it will start with temporary office space and expand to permanent offices in 2017.
