Ironshore International is expanding its Global Mergers & Acquisitions unit with a new Americas team that will address complex, multijurisdictional transactions within the North and Latin American regions.
Leading the team will be Navine K. Aggarwal, serving as senior vice president, head of M&A of the Americas. Aggarwal, to be based in New York, will report to Rowan Bamford, global head of M&A and Tax Insurance. Aggarwal was previously vice president of M&A with Allied World Assurance Co., responsible for launching and establishing its North American practice group.
Ironshore has also appointed a dedicated team of M&A professionals to manage coverage needs throughout its network of offices in the Americas. Patrick Ryan, Elizabeth Cunnane and Andrew Stewart will serve as vice presidents for the New York, Atlanta and Toronto offices, respectively. Ironshore said the regional underwriting specialists join directly from Allied World Assurance Co., where each served in various leadership positions within the M&A sector.
Ironshore’s global platform includes specialist underwriters located in London, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo.
