Robert Peretti will join XL Catlin’s Insurance operation as senior vice president, head of Broker and Client Management in the Americas, the company announced last week.
In his new role, Peretti leads a team of regional executives and customer distribution leaders that helps XL Catlin’s brokers and clients access XL Catlin’s risk management services and multi-line property, casualty, professional and specialty insurance coverage.
Peretti joins XL Catlin from AXIS Specialty (U.S.) Services where he most recently served as senior vice president and head of Broker Relations and Distribution. Over the last three decades, he has held various senior broker management and client executive positions with Zurich, Marsh and The Hartford.
Based in New York, Peretti will report to Joseph Tocco, chief executive of XL Catlin’s Americas region, which includes the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Bermuda.
Tocco noted that Peretti knows the value of strong broker and client relationships. “Our success relies on knowing our brokers’ and clients’ insurance needs and developing solutions across product lines or geographies that fulfill coverage requirements, add value to their own operations, and ultimately contribute to their business success,” Tocco said, emphasizing the need to engage and collaborate with our brokers and clients.
