Insurance broker Marsh on Monday announced two executive appointments, naming Michael Cormier head of Portfolio Development and hiring Michael Poulos as head of Client Advisory Services.
Cormier most recently led Marsh Risk Consulting. In his new role, he will support Marsh in accelerating growth and development through acquisitions, strategic alliances and partnerships in line with the firm’s strategic priorities. He will report to Courtney Leimkuhler, who will assume the role of CFO of Marsh on March 1, 2015.
Poulos will oversee Marsh Risk Consulting and Claims Advocacy. He joins Marsh from Oliver Wyman, an operating company of Marsh & McLennan Cos., where he most recently was head of the New York office and leader of the firm’s Financial Services business in the Americas. He will report to John Drzik, president, Global Risk and Specialties.
