Luke Savage is leaving Lloyd’s of London to become the new CFO at Standard Life.
Previously, Savage had been Lloyd’s Director of Finance and Operations for 10 years. He will be stepping down from Lloyd’s later this summer, and his position will be split into two separate functions going forwards, Lloyd’s said.
Along those lines, Shirine Khoury-Haq will be joining Lloyd’s from Catlin as Director of Operations. This is a new executive position on the Lloyd’s executive team and it will handle market operations, information technology and property services, said the announcement. She has held the position of Group Head of Operations and UK Chief Operating Officer at Catlin for the last seven years.
John Parry, currently Head of Finance at Lloyd’s, will step into the new role of Director of Finance on an interim basis until a permanent appointment is made.
Lloyd’s Chief Executive, Inga Beale noted in a statement that Savage “has played a huge role in Lloyd’s over the last 10 years.” At the same time, Beale welcomed Khoury-Haq to Lloyd’s, in the newly-created position of Director of Operations.
“She brings a wealth of experience to the team and will lead our key strategic priority of market modernization,” Beale said, also giving a nod to Parry in his role as interim Director of Finance.
