International specialty underwriter Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. announced Tuesday that Kurt Elia has joined the company as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
Elia will report to Argo Group President and CEO Mark E. Watson III.
“Attracting, developing and retaining top talent is central to everything we do at Argo,” said Watson. “Kurt’s expertise in this area and his experience leading global human resources functions will greatly support our strategic objectives. We’re very excited to have him join our executive team.”
Previously, Elia led the global human resources function at Endurance Specialty after serving in senior human resources positions at Citigroup, Capital One and IBM.
