Sabine Bauer is a managing director in Fitch Ratings’ Financial Institutions group, based in Stockholm. As a regional team head, she oversees Fitch’s insurance ratings for the EMEA region with a team of 16 analysts. Prior to her current role she had worked for more than five years in Fitch’s risk function, where she was a criteria officer reviewing and approving rating methodologies across rating groups.
