RV-focused InsurTech Roamly announced the appointment of Mary Heneen as chief commercial officer and Jessica Ballard as director of Claims.

As CCO, Heneen will lead Roamly’s insurance growth opportunities and partnerships. Prior to joining Roamly, she worked in strategic revenue growth development and marketing at several Fortune 500 companies, including DIRECTV, Amazon, Comcast, Dish and Nordstrom. Most recently, Heneen served as senior vice president and GM of membership products at Camping World, including its insurance arm, Good Sam.

Ballard joins Roamly after leading the claims team at personal auto InsurTech Root. Before that, she managed the North America claims team for Uber.

Verisk announced that Maroun Mourad will succeed Rich Della Rocca as president, Claims Solutions, upon his retirement, effective July 1, 2022.

Mourad is currently president, Life and Growth Markets, Underwriting Solutions at Verisk. He joined Verisk in 2015, serving as senior vice president, Commercial Lines; president, ISO Commercial Lines; and president, Global Underwriting during his tenure. Before joining Verisk in 2015, he held leadership roles at Gen Re, AIG, Arch and Zurich.

Della Rocca is retiring from Verisk after 27 years with the company, having served the past two as president of claims.

“Rich helped to build an integrated and increasingly global claims business with solutions for claims fraud detection, property estimating, auto and casualty solutions—with proprietary data and innovative technologies as the foundation,” said Mark Anquillare, Verisk president and COO. “We are grateful for his many contributions and leadership over the years, and we wish him all the best in this next exciting chapter of his life.”

MAPFRE USA, the leading personal and commercial auto writer and home insurer in Massachusetts, announced that Jesse Zimmerman has joined the leadership team as vice president of Commercial Lines.

Zimmerman, who has 20 years’ experience in the property/casualty insurance industry, previously served in small commercial and personal lines at Travelers Insurance, Hartford Financial Services Group and Allstate.
